“Make sure they don’t forget us.” This is the imperative that resonates in the mind of reporter Ryszard Kapuściński as he walks the dirty roads and villages of Angola in the middle of the civil war to tell the world the stories of those who are living those tragic days; like the reluctant commander Farrusco, who decided to side with the weakest, or the charming guerrilla Carlotta, who would rather heal people than shoot them. But then, the journalist enters in possession of a news that, if disclosed, could change the fate of the cold war and cause the death of thousands of people. His duty as a reporter would require him to spread it, but how can his conscience bear such a burden?
