TRIP TO ITALY
Mirko and Manolo are two young friends who live in the outskirts of Rome. Good guys until the moment, driving late at night, they run over a man and decide to run away. What appears to be a condemnation turns into an apparent stroke of luck: the man they killed is an informer from a criminal clan in the area and, after killing him, the two boys have earned the chance to be part of it. Filled with naive enthusiasm, they earn a role, the respect and the money they never had. But what appears to be a pass for a better life turns out to be a ticket to hell.

Biography
Fabio and Damiano D’Innocenzo are twins who grew up in the outskirts of the capital, where they dedicated themselves to painting, photography and poetry writing. La terra dell’abbastanza is their first feature film, presented at the Berlinale, in the Panorama section, and nominated for the 2018 Nastri d’Argento for Best New Director, Best Producer and Best Costumes.
